Glork. The gallery's finally fixed. MASSIVE upload. x.x I think I got everything since it broke, though. New art in just about every category I've got, and more guest pieces, yay. Too much stuff to try to post links to everything here, so just browse as you will. Guh. I go die now.

Hey, all. Yeah, still here, but been quite lazy about posting an update here lately. There've been a number of new pics since the last post in December, but I'm not in the mood to dig everything up. =P Unfortunately, the gallery's broken at the moment. x.x Existing stuff is fine, but I can't upload anything new until it's fixed. Oh, and to the jerk who posts gibberish in the comment fields trying to use the gallery to spam people? It ain't workin'. The email feature's turned off and I just go in and delete your junk later. Knock it off. Dumbass.

Bleh, still sick, but somewhat productive. I've done inks and the final piece for Kanashimi's contest, and drew Emberlene the pic I promised him. I also put a number of recent inks into the Coloring Book Gallery. Ok, back to bed with me. x.x

Whee, much to update. For sketches, I have a gift pic for Allabaster, pages one and two of an Extinctioners Guest Comic, a gift sketch for Tempest, and Keith's commission sketch. In the inked section, I have page one and page two of the Extinctioners comic, and Keith's Commission. I've also got a new piece of Halloween themed guest art from Jacob Strider.

Ok, I've been lazy. Here're the most recent updates. Inks of Jerry's Panda Starship Captain and Crimson's Cerena. Colored versions of the Panda,, Cerena, and Losi Starfire, my unicorn pop star. Also, new piece of guest art by Alaria, popstars Yuki Flamehop and Losi Starfire. Yuki is Alaria's and Losi, the unicorn, is mine.

Also, I've made a business update. After a lot of thought and some speculation and advice from a few trusted friends, I've decided to raise some of my commission rates. The price will stay the same for sketches and inked pieces. The price for colored pieces without backgrounds has been raised by $5. Colored pieces with backgrounds are now $35-$65 depending on the complexity of the background (people who are already in my current commission queue are still on the old rates. New rates apply to any new commissions taken once the queue is reopened). Additional characters are still $5 each. Image sequences start at $30 per page, more for sequences over four pages long. I can now offer prints of just about every piece in my gallery. These are inkjet photoprints on white cardstock, and they are $5 each. Backpack tags are now $8 for single sided, $15 for double sided, hand or computer color. Backpack tag prints are $5 single sided, $8 double sided.

And the Coloring Contest winner is Laterose03! Yay! She gets a free one character commission w/ background as her prize. Congratulations also to the runners up and everyone else who participated. ^_^ In other news, here's a new ink piece and its colored counterpart. Also, three new pieces of Guest Art from Alaria. =D I also finally figured out how to enable commenting, so I've turned it on for most of the galleries. Be nice, please. I'll just delete rudeness.

Ok, I've been somewhat lax about updates, so here's a big rush. The Coloring Contest is officially over! All the submissions are viewable here. I will be conferring with my judges and deciding a winner in the next few days. There is new guest art! Lt. Foxfire rendered my lightsaber, and the pommel by itself, and did a fantastic job of it. Also, Zero Shift did an absolutely fantastic seven-page comic sequence of Malys suddenly being confronted with his character the vampire Santiago.

Now for my stuff. Two new Sketches up, Trix for Zerry and Heather for Deke. Quite a few Inks up, a Demon for Technicon, Trix again, a Bathing Nymph for sale at Rising Star (Warning! Nudity!), the Mother of Invention ad art for next year's Rising Star, and Zero Shift's character Santiago turned into an anthro white wolf. For Hand Colored, I've got the Mother of Invention done, and in Photoshop Colored are the second werewolf and my finished art trade with Zero Shift. Woo! I think that's it for now. =D

Chaser's Wing Commander commission is finally done! It's in the handcolor gallery as usual. I'm quite pleased with the final result. Soon I'll mail off the original and move on to the next commission. An artist's work is never done. =D The coloring contest is at five entries thus far, with at least two more to come in soon! Details are here concerning entering.

Did a second piece of advertising art for Technicon. This time it's a Vampire girl. Just Inks at the moment since they reproduce best on black and white flyers. The Coloring Contest has three entries thus far! Two are competing, and the third is a non-competing judge entry. The entries thus far are viewable in their Special Gallery. I'm in the middle of an art trade with ZeroShift at the moment (yay!). He's already completed his half: Warning! Illustrated violence. Hopefully I'll have some work done on my half shortly.

I drew werewolf for Technicon. Then I colored him. Rawr! =D The graphic work gallery's been dumped into the Computer colored heading to help clean up the page, and I've created a new gallery for Coloring Book Submissions. The inked version of Chaser's Wing Commander commission is now up. The Coloring Book Gallery is now up and running too! I've changed the heading of the gallery it's under, so it's now the Sketch, Ink, and Coloring Book Gallery. Remember, this is licensed non-commercial work, available for fun, practice, and learning purposes.

Woo, fairly large update. First off, got one new piece of guest art from Zero Shift, and a new piece from Alaria as well. ^_^ Now, onto my own updates. I Put a background behind Moo and finished her up (hand colored gallery). I did the sketch for Chaser's Wing Commander commission (sketch gallery). And I've been creating and coloring a sizeable number of poses for Wolfhome, some for myself and some for others. I'll be updating my Business page with info on commissioning poses in the near future.

Made some updates to the Business page of the site. Don't worry, no price hikes. =P I just cleaned up some of the code, updated the commission queue, added info on trades and gift art, and pricing information on commissioning livejournal icons. One more update: fast pic of Triggur as a My Little PonyÃ¯Â¿Â½ in the handcolored gallery.

Haven't had time to get the Creative Commons stuff set up yet, what with Anthrocon and all the moving to and fro. Will do that soon. In the meantime, I've gotten new guest art from Allabaster, and did a trade with Starflier whose piece turned out quite hilariously. XDD As for me, I've got my half of the trade finished and posted, as well as the livejournal icon commission for Profox, of which there are also sketches and inks

I'm looking into and will shortly be implementing the addition of a Creative Commons license to the site. This does not mean I am giving up my copyright or will stop selling my pieces. My art remains mine, and is not in the public domain. What does this mean for visitors here? In the terms of the license, you will be able to:

1. Copy, distribute and display my works (meaning you will be allowed to download, print, color, and repost my art with conditions).
2. Make derivative works.

What are the conditions?

1. You must attribute the original work to me (ie: don't remove my signature, give my name as the original artist if you repost, and please add a link back to this site).
2. You may not use my work for commercial purposes (no printing for resale or yoinking images for use in the sale of other products, etc)
3. Share alike. If you alter, transform, or build upon my work, you may distribute the resulting work only under a license identical to this one (aka, you can't just say "I colored this, so it's mine! No one can change it". For any reuse or distribution, you must make clear to others the license terms of this work).

Any of these conditions can be waived if you get permission from me, but you MUST ask first. Fair Use and similar rights are, of course, not affected. This is simply a more flexible form of Copyright law. I will be giving you permission to play with, learn from, and show off my artwork. In light of this, I am working on adding a "Coloring Book" gallery which will have printable versions of some of my line art. Once that's up, you'll be free to download and play with the pieces so long as you hold to the terms of the Creative Commons license. If people start showing me what they've colored, I may even create a gallery to display their experiments. =D

Slight revamp. Updated my header image and the Business section of the site. The commission process has been greatly simplified and slimmed down, though. ^_^ As a side note, I can do more than what's listed there (ie: branching into paintings and sculpture, or sewed costume pieces), but as I don't get much call for that, I didn't think it was worth including. Also updated the Links page, and posted a new piece in the Graphic Work gallery (which is also a new addition). There is new Guest Art from Allabaster.

MAJOR update. Anyone who's been visiting regularly will notice the sudden lack of frames (Yay!) and the new look of the gallery. My husband Ed (yes, I got married) has been a huge help with recoding rainbowsaber. Most of the site is in php now, and the gallery is dynamic, so it'll be updated much more often (it wasn't before because I was a lazy sot and didn't want to mess with the html every time I uploaded a picture). The Characters page finally has thumbnails, and I'll get around to fixing up the links page one of these days... ^_^

I really need to update this more often. Anyway, I've uploaded new images but been too lazy to organize them in the gallery yet. I did change my main page image and I put together a Photoshop Coloring Tutorial a couple days ago as well. I've never seen anyone use PS quite the same way I do, so I thought I'd share my methods.
