Commission Process
- You email me your contact information and details of the kind of artwork you would like (suggested form is under Character description at the bottom of this page) such as descriptive subject, medium, size, etc... Then we can discuss some more.
- I will create a rough sketch and email it to you or post it for you to view.
- You either give me the ok on the sketch, or let me know of any changes you would like (within reason).
- Once you are happy and have accepted the sketch, you send payment.
- Once I receive your payment (and it has cleared) I'll start final work.
- I finish the artwork and deliver it to you.

Completion Time
Completion time on commissions change depending on how busy I am at any point in time. Feel free to email me if you'd like to find out how long it would take me to complete a particular piece for you. It may take up to a year to complete your piece! Communication is key!

*NOTE* I will do group pictures and image sequences, but please know these take longer than an average work from me and generally cost a bit more than your average single picture.

Art Trades and Gift Art
Trades: If I have the time, certainly. Get in touch, and we'll talk about it. As a side note, you don't necessarily have to be an artist to trade with me. I've traded costume items, art supplies, and even lunch on one occasion for art. Will trade Grey Goose for art! =D

Gifts: Do NOT ask for free art. Occasionally I will do a piece for someone out of the blue with no compensation of any kind asked in return. Gift art is generally reserved for close friends (people I've known for a long time and feel close to), and rarely for those whose characters happen to intrigue me.

ConBadges

$15
This is your standard three by four inch sized conbadge. I can do head shots, busts, or full (small) character pieces on this size. There is no extra charge for backgrounds on these. Since I DO include a badgeholder with each badge, it's a little hard to make them in cutout shapes other than a rectangle, but so long as it's within the 3"x4" dimensions, I'm flexible.

Shipping: $5

You'll Receive: One 3"x4" badge with flexible plastic bulldog clip badgeholder included.

Livejournal Icons/Avatars

Sample Price

$10 per icon
This is a commission for 100x100 pixel icons or avatars. Currently I am setting a flat rate for all icons. It is possible I will give discounts for icons purchased in sets. Contact me to discuss if you wish to purchase a set of three or more. All icons will be hand drawn and colored either with markers or in photoshop at your preference.

Shipping: None (or $5 if for some reason you want the original piece of paper)

You'll Receive via email:

  • A file with a larger uncropped version of the icon(s)
  • The cropped and resized finished 100x100 pixel icon(s)
  • In the case of icon sets, a 'display' image of all the cropped and resized icons put together

Content:

Please email me for the specific list of things I will and will not draw. As a quick guideline, I will not draw:

1. Trademarked characters such as those belonging to Disney, the WB, etc.
2. Underaged characters in adult situations.
3. And I reserve the right to turn down any commission I do not feel comfortable drawing.

Character description (preferred) This is a basic form to give me enough detail to work with. I like to get a feel for the character I will be drawing so I can more accurately portray them. Please feel free to expand upon what is here:

Business:

1). I retain the © to the artwork itself, the reproduction rights to the piece, and the right to display it on my site/gallery(s). I request at the very least that my name (real or my furry alt) be cited if you choose to display a scan/photo of the finished image online, and would prefer a link back to my site/gallery if at all possible.

2). I will accept money orders, well-hidden cash (AT YOUR OWN RISK) or personal checks as payment (checks require 1-2 weeks to clear, upon which the package will be shipped). If you choose to send cash, it is your responsibility to see that it makes it to its destination. US funds only, please. If you cannot or do not wish to pay, but have another skill or item you wish to trade for artwork, get in touch and we will see if we can work out a barter arrangement.

3). The package will be shipped upon money order, cash receipt or the check clearing.

4). Concerning prints and reproduction: I retain the right to make and sell multiple prints of a piece should I so desire. The commissioner of any piece of traditional work receives the original, but NOT the right to copy or make prints for sale from it. That right is mine alone as the artist and creator of the image unless we have negotiated that you purchase the reproduction rights from me. I am generally sensitive to requests that no prints be made of an original commissioned piece, but this is negotiated on an individual basis.
